At Jimmy’s Food Store we host different types of wine tastings so you can taste and experience the wines of Italy.

In-Store Tastings
On most Saturday’s we have free wine samples from 11-4, so you can taste before you buy. We also offer walk-around tastings, and wine seminars, highlighting regions of Italy, allowing you to taste and learn about Italian wines.

Wine Dinners
Our seated wine dinner and tasting events, are in our Circolo del Vino. For most of the events, we will have a wine vineyard owner coming to share stories of their families, their wine and their history. Along with the wines, our guest chef will prepare a multi-course meal that mirrors the region represented. Emails with details on the event are sent out and reservations must be made and confirmed by email.

I come from a large Italian family. Walking into Jimmy's is like being home again. They know us by name, they treat us like family, and the service is always great. Their selection is fantastic, if overwhelming. You could wander through their narrow aisles endlessly, accidentally beginning a journey that takes you from pasta to paninis. Going to Jimmy's is like stepping into a Brooklyn deli. You must go, even if it's just for the experience. Oh, and try the smoked mozzarella. It's divine!

Amazing and all Italian! Picked up a frozen lasagna and a bottle of Italian wine. LOL, no other kind there. The place is iconic in Dallas. No other Italian grocery/store like it in the city. You must check this place out if you like anything Italian. It is often packed with customers as it should be, plus it is not a large place. Love the store.

Perfectly Authentic family Italian grocery & deli. Must go for sandwiches & subs, highly recommend muffaleta. Room with extra seating tucked away in the back behind the deli counter makes you feel like one of the family. Don’t miss the wine! Absolutely fantastic selection of all the best, hard to find Italian wines from the serious, most respected producers!
